Gt bmx with no cranks?

What is an american bottom bracket? I got a gt from a friend with no cranks, so i started to look for some, found some that says fits any bike with an ameircan bott0m bracket will it fit?

Yep...the GT's use the American style bottom bracket. It has bearing cups pressed into the frame, and then you put the bearings in there and spindle, snug it all up, and attach your cranks.

GT Zone BMX Bike Cranks And Forks?

Hello, I am wanting to get new cranks and forks for my GT zone and have a few questions... Are the cranks on a GT Zone 2 piece or 3 Piece??? Also are the forks 3/8" or 14mm??? please help me!!! Thanks!!!!!

Depends on the year i think
but looking at pictures its a 14 mm axle
and a 3-pc crank
For new cranks Primo HollowBite and Odyssey Wombolt 2-pc

Cranks from mountain bike to BMX bike?

I got a GT slammer BMX with one-piece cranks. I was looking at my Schwinn Frontier and it looks as if it has 3 piece cranks. Is there a way to take off one and put it on the other?
